Place Manager - City of Stonnington

      • Salary: $104,002 - $115,782 per annum (pro rata) + Superannuation

The City of Stonnington, located in inner Melbourne, is seeking a Place Manager to provide high level management and coordination of projects for and impacting on Council. This is a rare opportunity to cover a maternity leave vacancy and have the flexibility of working 38 hours a fortnight.

The Place Manager will be responsible for key strategic planning policy and land use development initiatives which will require liaison with Council, other key internal and external stakeholders that support State and Council planning policy objectives. A key project includes implementing Chapel reVision and place management initiatives for the Chapel Street Activity Centre, particularly Forrest Hill.

With significant experience in delivering strategic planning projects, this is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled professional to make their mark in one of Melbourne’s premier municipalities. As the successful applicant you will possess a relevant tertiary qualification, extensive experience in strategic planning, extensive policy development and project management experience and demonstrated skills in networking, consultation and engagement. You will have an eye for detail as well as the ability to advocate and facilitate complex and major strategic projects and programs.
